Curriculum
The Naíonra curriculum follows the principles of Aistear and Síolta.
Aistear is the Irish curriculum framework from birth to six years of age.
Síolta is the National Quality Framework for Early Years Children's Services.
We are participating in the Government-run ECCE (Early Childhood Care and Education) scheme.
Children who are not currently eligible under the ECCE scheme are also welcome.

We decided to send our son to the Naíonra to give him a good head start in learning Irish. Neither of us have great memories of learning Irish in school ourselves so we felt that we'd love to give our children a positive attitude to learning Irish from the very beginning. Ann, Ger and Martina did just that for our son. It was a very enjoyable experience for him. He is now in Primary School and thriving at Irish, and loving every minute. Our daughter already cannot wait to attend the Naíonra!
